With the Charvel Pro-Mod San Dimas Bass PJ IV CM Natural Mahogany, the traditional hard'n'heavy company from California is sending a hot-rodded P-bass into the race that knows how to impress with great playability and powerful bass sounds.

The deep blue Finish conceals an alder body in the classic P-bass style, while the graphite-reinforced screw-on neck made of caramelised maple sits comfortably in the hand thanks to the "Slim C" profile with compound fretboard radius.

On the bass amplifier, the PJ pickup setup consisting of a DiMarzio Model P split coil in the middle position and a DiMarzio Model J single coil on the bridge provides extremely fat and assertive bass sounds, with a spectrum ranging from a piercing low-mid thrust to a wiry presence tone. The active 3-band tone control of the Charvel San Dimas Bass also allows precise adjustment of the sound.
