SeventySeven Guitars Japan Tune-up Series

SeventySeven Guitars, a well-known Japanese semi-acoustic/full-acoustic guitar brand that has been striving for a high-quality raw sound since its inception in 2006, has added a new line in 2020.

The new SeventySeven Japan Tune-Up Series is based on the luthier's 40 years of experience since the Headway factory was established in 1977, and is designed to give players the power to create rich musical expression by adjusting the neck, frets and other parts directly related to playability. The guitars are set up at the factory with the utmost care to ensure that they sit comfortably in the player's hand. Please feel free to try it out and check its playability and sound.

Reliable setup from Japanese workshop

It is said that professional guitarists do not use the guitars they buy as they are, but take them to a trusted luthier and have them set up to their liking before they hit the stage. Experienced guitarists will cut the nut on their own guitars and modify it until it feels just the way they like it.

Easy-to-grip string height adjustment

String height is a major factor in how easy a guitar is to play. Each guitar is carefully set to the correct string height with an emphasis on ease of play.

Fret edge rounding

By carefully rounding the edges of each fret with various grades of sandpaper and steel wool, the left hand's movement is smoother. The fret edges can be slid up to the high frets.
