The Masterworks series is Pearl's top-tier, premium line of drums, offering boutique-level customization options including exotic wood choices, bearing edges, hardware platings, and a lot more.

This particular kit is fitted with black chrome hardware, Scuba Blue lacquer over an outer shell ply of Tamo Ash.

8x10", and 8x12" mounted toms, 12x14" and 14x16" floor toms, and 14x20" bass drum.

The finish added 2 outer plies to each shell, one maple and then the outer Tamo Ash finish ply

8x10, and 8x12 rack toms with 4 outer plies of birch and 2 inner plies of African mahogany. The 8x8 has two birch outer and two inner African mahogany 

12x14 and 14x16 floor toms with 2 outer plies of birch and 4 inner plies of African mahogany

14x20 bass drum with 2 outer plies of maple and 6 inner plies of African mahogany 

All with sharp 45 degree bearing edges and Mastercast diecast hoops (the bass drum has wooden hoops).
