Squier launched in the early 80s out of Japan, but moved to Korea in the late 80s. These 90s ‘Silver Series’ guitars marked a return to the famed Fujigen Gakki factory in Japan for high end Squiers; they were built alongside the Fender Japan models of the day. The necks are brilliant and these sounds alarmingly good.

Squier Stratocaster ST-62 "Silver Series", made in Japan in 1993 in sunburst. The Silver Series heralded a return to Japanese manufacturing for Squier, and were very well received at the time owing to the excellent build quality from the legendary Fujigen factory.
