Descripción

This is a very rare Tenor Acoustic Guitar I picked up a few years ago. The headstock has a logo that reads "Crescent." The shop I purchased it from dated it to somewhere in the 1930s, but beyond that I have no idea.

It's currently missing one string (the highest) and I didn't want to re-string it since I don't really know what gauge it requires. Also the tuning pegs need some attention - a few of them are kinda stiff, while one of them gets a bit loose. It can hold tuning for a song or so but the pegs would probably need to be repaired or replaced by someone who knows what they are doing (I don't). Lastly intonation would need to be looked at. Frets appear to be in good condition, and body and neck also appear to have no issues apart from general age.

For a guitar of this age it does play and sound great, but it could use a professional setup for sure. Overall it has a very bright, "spanky" folksy retro sound. I have small hands so I've really loved it as an alternative for acoustic guitars, but I'd rather see it off to a good home, someone who can actually upgrade and maintain it well.

Includes case. Thanks for looking and feel free to let me know if you have any questions.
