Couesnon Flugelhorn Lacquer

From the Golden era of the Couesnons, this flugelhorn has The iconic sound you search for! S/N84xxx engraved on the bell, with a French style pinky hook and lacquer in surprisingly nice shape given the age of this instrument. The valves, although looking a little worn, are silky smooth and still hold outstanding compression, with loud pops when you pull the slides out. There are dings and dents all throughout the horn and a lot of those are hard to reach unless the horn is disassembled. That being said, they are not affecting the playability of the flugelhorn as it plays extremely nice, with pretty decent intonation when you use the correct tapered mouthpiece. Comes with original hard shell case in good condition that’s hard to come by!
