Eko Barracuda Bass Vintage 60s Made in Italy Red Sunburst

Rare and beautiful vintage Eko Barracuda Bass made in Italy in the middle of the sixties.
Very very good condition, neck is perfect straight, the truss rod work great, frets are in 99,5% condition. The fretboard is made of a beautiful dark piece of Brazilian rosewood, the neck is made of three pieces of hard flamed maple with two thin stripes of rosewood.
Neck have the typical Eko varnish cracks, but the neck is perfect without cracks or repair.
Medium scale length.
Hollow body in perfect shape.
It’s complete with all the original parts, pickguard have his thumbrest and the bridge have his cover.
The only not original parts are the tuning machines, tuners was replaced in the early 90’s with a set of Gotoh Made in Japan, this is not an invasive modification, this tuners can be easily replaced with the originals, original screws are in the original holes.

The bass work very well, sound loud and….WOW!!! The two original pickups are well balanced, all the pots and the switch are in perfect condition and original. (Two volume, two tone and pickup selector )
I’ve had many other Eko basses and this is a very great instrument, really fully playable.
