For sale is this vintage 1977 Takamine F366S jumbo acoustic guitar. This rare lawsuit-era Guild copy, serial number 77071419, is in very good condition and includes a more recent TKL hard case. Produced in several configurations, this jumbo acoustic sports a cutaway but does not include a factory pickup. The same model was sometimes outfitted with electronics and/or a cutaway. At some point this guitar had a Fishman soundhole pickup, but it has since been removed. Resultantly, the end pin hole was enlarged to accommodate an output jack. The guitar plays surprisingly well, it feels fantastic, and it produces a very stringy sound when strummed, probably quite good for sitting in a track. The top has some superficial finish damage where a sticker was once applied. It's in fair to good cosmetic condition, and appears to be in excellent structural shape. There is one small area on the top near the lower treble side bout, where perhaps a crack was repaired, but it's not very noticeable. While I wouldn't suggest this is a collector's grade piece, it is a very good example of a killer MIJ acoustic. It has a solid spruce top, and beautiful rosewood back and sides.
