Up for sale is this clean set of three original pickups from a genuine 1979 Fender USA Stratocaster.

THE SPECS:
* Vintage gray fiber bobbin Fender Stratocaster pickups (neck and middle)
* Vintage gray fiber bobbin Fender X1 pickup (bridge)
* Actual pickups' resistance - Neck: 5.77 Kohms / Middle: 5.65 Kohms / Bridge: 7.17 Kohms.

Condition:
Excellent. All the components are Fender Fullerton original and in great shape. The pickups all have 1979 dates stamped on them, and have a classic, vintage Strat sound. In the bridge spot is the legendary, HOT Fender X1 pickup - this is the first year they were introduced on the Strat. All the pickups work as well as new.

Installation Notes:
If you have a 1979 - 1982 Strat, installing this part is a fairly simple swap. Soldering is required. Although obviously intended for a vintage Strat restoration, these pickups will fit any standard Fender Stratocaster body.

The price includes:
All three pickups with their original black pickup covers and mounting screws.
I'll take $10 off the price if you don't want the pickup covers.

FYI:
Beware of the seller here on Reverb offering "Fender Stratocaster 1981 1980 1982 set guitar pickups". If the bridge pickup has a normal Strat resistance, it isn't an X1 pickup, so those pickups certainly cannot be a Fender USA 1980, 1981, or 1982 Stratocaster pickup set.
