Gibson A-1 Mandolin 1915 – Natural w/ Chipboard Case

This is a vintage 1915 Gibson A-1 Mandolin with plenty of history and character. It is in good playing condition and plays and sounds great. The original tuners are still present, adding to the instrument's vintage appeal.

The mandolin has had some previous restoration work. The body has been refinished, possibly primarily on the back. It appears that some of the refinishing may have been done to cover or blend in an earlier neck repair, although we cannot confirm the exact reason for the refinishing.

There are also repaired cracks in the sides of the body. The repairs are stable, although the seams from some of the repairs are still visible in places. Please study all photos carefully for a detailed look at the instrument's condition.
