This is a high-performance, compact overdrive pedal. It features an original analog circuit designed to deliver a natural distortion tone, thoroughly eliminating loss of tone, sluggishness, and muddiness. It produces natural distortion that preserves the nuances of your picking. Furthermore, by carefully selecting components from the design stage onward, it achieves exceptionally low noise for a distortion effect. Setting the GAIN control to 0 produces a completely clean sound, and the output circuit?capable of up to 20 Vp-p?allows you to overdrive your amp to its limits without any loss of tone. A mechanical switch is used for the on/off function. Its solid, responsive feel ensures comfortable playability. It also guarantees a bypass sound that does not compromise the guitarfs original signal. While most overdrive pedals typically feature only a single tone control, the PD-01 is equipped with two controls?HIGH and LOW?allowing you to actively shape your sound, from mild drive tones to crisp, cutting sounds.
