Framus 6 strings banjo

Six-string banjo (mod. Dixi 6/76), built in 1965 by the well-known German company Framus.

Bird's eye maple body, mahogany neck with very dark rosewood fingerboard with an aged white cream binding.

The nitro finish has a beautiful vintage patina, however, there is a point on the back of the headstock where that has been cracked (as shown in the photo), but I think it's just the lacquer.

It comes with the original leather hard case from the 1960s.

It belonged to the great musician Gino Santercole, historic Italian guitarist of Adriano Celentano and his band "I Ribelli".

All original except for the bridge which, as we know, it has to be replace regularly on banjos; anyway everything was left in its place from the moment the instrument was purchased from the family of the historic first owner.
