The Twenty series, produced between 2007 and 2012, is a lineup that uses traditional B20 bronze, a material passed down from ancient Türkiye.
The B20 bronze blanks (made by heating and rolling the alloy into a disc) are handcrafted by Murat Diril, a cymbal craftsman from Turkey, the home of handmade cymbals, and then Paiste's craftsmen hand-form them into cymbals at their factory in Switzerland.
This cymbal was born as a miraculous fusion of Turkish tradition and the technology cultivated by Paiste.
The B20 Bronze's rich bass texture, combined with Paiste's signature beautiful treble resonance and response, creates a unique sound that continues to be highly acclaimed today.
