TPP KURT COBAIN "FERRING-STANG" TRIBUTE

This TPP Kurt Cobain "Ferring-Stang" Tribute has been produced by The Painted Player Guitar Co. in the UK using a heavily modified Fender Mexican Mustang and based upon the Nirvana legend's custom designed Mustang built by 'Ferrington'. Featuring a custom off-set body with Gibson Tune-o-matic Bridge and Stop-Tailpiece, bespoke 1-Piece Red Tortoiseshell Pickguard, top-mounted Strat Jack Socket plate, master volume & tone controls and 3-way pickup toggle switch - just as per Kurt's original specs.
The guitar's unique HSS pickup configuration (with slanted mid-position single coil) is made up of two original Fender Mustang single coils accompanied by a Seymour Duncan humbucker in the bridge position all featuring Matt Black pickup covers. The Bridge pickup is equipped with push/pull coil-tap access via the tone control and, to further enhance the guitar's flexibility, the guitar sports 3-way Les Paul Toggle switch to access the Neck and Bridge pickups (like a 2-pickup guitar) along with a push/pull 'on/off' switch for the mid-position pickup (located in the volume pot). This unique layout means you can bring the Mid-position pickup in at any time so that, alongside the coil-tap, the player has access to a total of 10 unique switching positions!
