I'm selling Fender Start Plus from 1996 (original owner). I replaced pickups with custom made hand wound pickups but original Lace Sensors are included. I did replaced the bridge pickup, which was originally Gold with Silver. Lase sensors are very good pickups but trust me, if you want that Stratocaster glassy sound, you will keep these. Neck did develop these cracks in the lacquer which gives it this relic feeling. The two piece Alder body is very well preserved.
Some will notice I also added a string tree, this is to avoid some buzzing sound on open strings which was common on these guitars.
As you can also notice this guitar have a 50 Anniversary sticker which doesn't increase the value of the guitar but it's nice to have. All 1996 Fender guitars have this sticker. I think it's a nice touch.
Original SKB guitar case is included.
