15" GM Designs GMD Series Hi-Hat Prototype Pair - Bright, Musical & Affordable!

GM Designs GMD Series Prototype — A First Look at What’s Next

Meet the upcoming GMD Series: musical, affordable B20 bronze cymbals made for anyone who appreciates a good sound—from beginners and weekend players to working professionals.

The approach is simple: machine-shaped, lathed, and left completely unhammered. This gives the GMD Series its own character while keeping production straightforward and prices accessible.

Dark cymbals have their place, but brightness belongs in music, too. Clear highs, lively tone, and a little shimmer have helped shape the sound of recorded and live music for decades. The GMD Series embraces that side of the spectrum, offering another voice for your setup and another color for your music.

Own an Early Piece of the Series

The cymbal in this listing is a prototype from the development of the GMD Series. That means you have an opportunity to explore the sound before the official release—and be among the first to own one.

Some prototypes may closely represent the finished series. Others may have subtle differences in weight, profile, lathing, or response as we refine the final designs. Either way, you’re getting a playable, musical cymbal with its own personality and a place in the series’ beginnings.

Get an early taste of what’s next from GM Designs. Quality B20 bronze, an approachable price, and a chance to own a GMD Series prototype before the official release. Make it yours and put it to work! Explore more at gmdcymbals.com
