Limited to 150 units worldwide, this is a limited edition model released by Gibson Custom in 2004, and it is from Yamano, Japan. It is one of the few replicas aged by Gibson's legendary luthier Tom Murphy, modeled after Led Zeppelin's iconic guitarist Jimmy Page's unnumbered Les Paul Standard No.1. Subsequently, in 2009, Gibson released Jimmy Page's other iconic guitar, the Les Paul No.2.

Jimmy Page purchased this legendary Les Paul No.1 from Joe Walsh in 1969. The guitar neck was almost worn out before the purchase, and it had no serial number, making it impossible to determine if it was produced in 1959 or 1960. This guitar followed Jimmy Page throughout the 1970s, recording numerous Led Zeppelin songs and participating in many performances. It became one of Jimmy Page's most treasured guitars, even describing it as his irreplaceable "mistress."

The guitar features the classic Page Burst finish and an asymmetrical flamed maple top identical to the original, with the same neck shape. It is equipped with a set of Jimmy Page Custom Burstbucker pickups replicating the original's specifications and includes the same out-of-phase functionality. The bridge pickup can be coil-split, delivering Jimmy Page's signature tone, distinctly different from a standard Les Paul. Tom Murphy meticulously replicated all the original guitar's wear and tear, ensuring every detail is as close to the original as possible. This includes replicating the extra screw holes from the replacement of Grover Rotomatics tuners. From the wood selection, appearance, and color to the tonal resonance, this is a perfect, flawless Les Paul replica.

After 2021, the Murphy Lab series was no longer crafted by Tom Murphy himself. Over the past decade, replicas made by Tom Murphy for artists such as Slash, Jimmy Page, and Joe Perry have not only retained their value but have seen their market prices multiply. Notably, Jimmy Page personally signed the certificate for this No.1 aged version. Savvy collectors would know that, in later Gibson reissue signature guitars, the artist's signature on the certificate of the standard aged version is typically printed, not a real signed. However, Gibson gave special treatment to this guitar, resulting in the Jimmy Page No.1 Aged having exceptionally high collectible value in the market.

The guitar is kept in very good condition, with the frets being approximately 80% new, and the certificate shows some aging.

All items have a 2-day return policy from the date of receipt. However, items sold as "Pre-order" are excluded from the return policy.
