A true collector's item, this Prototype from 1981 - unique piece - purchased from the private collection of Reinaldo Di Giorgio. Perfectly preserved because it was only ever kept on display in the Di Giórgio Atelier in São Paulo and therefore never played. The top is solid spruce, laminated rosewood sides, solid Brazilian rosewood back (a more unique than rare combination), mahogany neck and ebony fingerboard. Diapason 640 - nut 52.

The guitar, still present on the official Di Giorgio website, is very balanced. Very light. Soft and very comfortable to play, it has a very sweet sound. Made specifically to accompany bossa nova vocals in the background (a la Joao Gilberto). Being a prototype, it has a particular bracing, which features modifications and rethinks, a personalized and new headstock and a soundboard with a symmetrical knot, precisely because it was not a product intended for sale but only for experimentation. A true historical testimony of the preparatory work underlying the official instruments.

I consider a trade-in or exchange for a flamenco guitar (Esteso, S. Hernandez, Bernabé, Rozas, F.M. Diaz, A.M. Montero, Maldonado) and offers to purchase classical and flamenco guitars. All with direct and non-anonymous private negotiation.
