Schecter Model-T Session-5 Bass in Aged Natural Satin

The Model-T Session-5 is a versatile 5-string platform built for session and gigging players who demand clarity, sustain, and tonal flexibility in a compact footprint. This bass pairs a lightweight swamp ash body with active EMG electronics and a carbon-reinforced maple neck, delivering punchy lows and articulate highs across multiple genres.

Tone and Electronics

The dual-pickup setup—EMG P5 neck pickup and EMG LJ bridge pickup—feeds into a 2-band active EQ with master volume and blend controls, giving you sculpted low-end response and responsive midrange shaping. The 18-volt active system ensures consistent output and headroom This laying down pocket grooves or cutting through a dense mix.

Playability and Build

A thin 'C' neck profile measuring .826" at the first fret and .905" at the 12th fret, paired with a 12" fretboard radius, creates a comfortable fast-playing surface for both fingerstyle and slap techniques. The 35" scale provides extended low-end definition while maintaining familiar string spacing, and the maple neck with carbon fiber reinforcement rods resists neck dive and delivers stable intonation under stage conditions.
