MIDIPan is a MIDI controller played like a tongue drum with fingers or thumbs on 13 touch-sensitive pads. It is portable - 6 inches in diameter and less than an inch thick.
It can output:
- MIDI over USB (now USB-C)
- MIDI over TRS (can give MIDI over 5-pin DIN with a suitable adaptor)
* This is the 'with audio' version of this instrument, I have a separate listing for a MIDI-only version*
You can set any scale/mode, octave and root note, for example C6 Mixolydian or G4 Minor Pentatonic, and then you'll be able to effortlessly play the notes in that scale and key.
It features velocity-sensitivity for expressive playing.
Includes:
- Fully built and tested
- Custom firmware, written from scratch for this project.
- Built-in looper, see my Youtube channel for demos
- Gold-plated pads
- RGB lighting effects
- Tripod mount as shown in the photos
- The manual
