Wren and Cuff Tall Font Russian Fuzz, a highly acclaimed, boutique recreation of the legendary early 90s-era army green Sovtek Muff pedal.

Wren and Cuff are widely regarded as masters of the fuzz circuit, and this pedal is the result of obsessive component matching to perfectly replicate the raunchy, growling grind of a vintage original.

Unlike smoother, more compressed civil war or triangle muffs, the Tall Font Russian is famous for its unique, rude character that sits perfectly between a heavy fuzz and an overdriven distortion. It features a less pronounced mid-scoop than standard muffs, allowing your guitar to retain excellent string definition and stay firmly planted in the live mix without getting lost. The pedal is uniquely voiced with custom-tailored potentiometer values and matched vintage transistor gains to provide an exceptionally tight low end. The bass response features an overdrive-like compression that never goes flabby, making it a legendary choice not just for guitarists chasing the tones of The Black Keys, White Stripes, or Mars Volta, but also an incredible tool for bass players looking to retain deep low-end punch. It offers all the historic vintage tonal mojo while completely eliminating the headaches of original 90s boxes, such as giant footprints, flimsy plastic jacks, and non-true bypass tone-suck. The pedal is in great overall cosmetic and working condition, delivering premium, road-ready boutique fuzz to your pedalboard.Key controls and features:

• Volume, Tone, and Distortion: The iconic triangle knob layout to shape your fuzz saturation and high-frequency roll-off.
• Milder Mid-Scoop: Engineered to provide optimal vocal midrange presence compared to traditional fuzz boxes.
• Tight Low-End Compression: Prevents muddy bass frequencies, making it highly versatile for guitar and bass.
