About this listing
A Classic RefinishedWith its solid build and versatile, vintage electronics platform, the S2 Standard 24 Satin is a true player’s guitar. The thin satin nitro finish gives this instrument a wonderful resonance and an open clarity that’s noticeable even unplugged. The solid mahogany body and set neck give this guitar a distinctive resonance and powerful sustain, and when mahogany’s rich, round, warm tone meets the Maryland, USA-made 58/15 LT pickups, there are plenty of clear highs and strong mids to be dialed in. The subtle aesthetic of mahogany and vintage vibe of pickguard-mounted electronics give the S2 Standard 24 an understated look for players who prefer a stripped-down approach to their music. After ten years, the PRS S2 Series is being updated with USA-made pickup and electronics for 2024 (and beyond). We are proud to bring this added value to what has become a fully integrated part of our manufacturing line and product offering.PRS Patented TremoloPatented design, delivering tonal fidelity, player comfort, and tuning stability.Low-Mass Locking TunersOur lightweight, locking tuners make stringing a snap and keep your guitar in tune.PRS 58/15 LT Pickups“Low turn” pickups with vintage warm, clear tone.Stock #4157 lbs 6 ozBodyBody Construction SolidbodyBody Wood MahoganyTop Carve Asymmetric BevelNeckNumber of Frets 24Scale Length 25"Neck Wood Mahogany Neck Construction ScarfedTruss Rod PRS Double-ActingNeck Shape Pattern ThinNeck Depth at the 1/2 Fret 53/64"Neck Depth at the 12 1/2 Fret 57/64"Neck Width at the Nut 1 11/16"Neck Width at the Body 2 1/4"Fretboard Wood RosewoodFretboard Radius 10"Fretboard Inlay BirdsHeadstock Logo Signature, DecalNeck/Body AssemblyNeck/Body Assembly Type SetFinishFinish Type Satin NitroHardwareBridge PRS Patented TremoloTuners PRS Low Mass LockingHardware Type NickelNutnPRSTruss Rod Cover "S2 Standard"ElectronicsTreble Pickup 58/15 LTBass Pickup 58/15 LTControls Volume and Tone Control with 5-Way Blade Pickup SwitchAdditional InfoStrings PRS Signature 10-46Tuning Standard (6 String): E, A, D, G, B, ECase Premium Gig Bag
