[Product Description]

■Fender Japan JM66 Jazz Master Black Fender Japan Jazzmaster 2013 Mod

■Features

A classic offset model that Fender Japan takes pride in offering,

this is a 2013 JM66 Jazzmaster.

The sharp black finish paired with a rosewood fretboard

creates a striking, authoritative presence that defines the model.

The combination of alder body and maple neck delivers

both clarity of definition and a pleasing, viscous tone.

It features the Jazzmaster's signature sharp attack and expansive resonance,

producing a cutting sound whether playing chords or single notes.

Equipped with the distinctive floating tremolo system,

it responds to everything from delicate, subtle vibrato to bold expressive effects.

It pairs excellently with alternative, shoegaze, and indie rock styles,

and works particularly well with space-based effect-driven playing.

This instrument features a mod configuration with the upper preset circuit bypassed,

operating intuitively with just the 3-way selector, main volume, and tone controls—

creating a practical, hands-on setup that requires no complex操作.

The ease of use, requiring minimal operational thinking and allowing focus on playing,

is a major strength.

Equipped with GOTOH Kluson-style tuners,

this specification maintains vintage aesthetics while providing

practical ease of use. The meticulous craftsmanship of Japanese Fender

is also a point of pride.

Whether you're specifically seeking a black Jazzmaster or looking for

a straightforward, immediately practical instrument, we confidently recommend this guitar.

Given the strong popularity of this Japanese-made offset model domestically and internationally,

if you're interested, we strongly encourage you not to miss this opportunity.

■Special notes

- Regarding the practical modification (bypass of preset circuit)

As a characteristic feature unique to the Jazzmaster, aggressive cutting and strumming often causes

the right hand to contact the upper slide switch on the body, resulting in unintended sound

switching during play (causing the tone to become muffled)—a common problem.

To prevent this, the previous owner deliberately bypassed (disconnected) the upper preset circuit.

This modification provides the following significant benefits:

1. Prevents unintended switching during play: Even with aggressive playing, there's no worry about accidental sound changes, allowing confident focus on performing during live shows and studio sessions.

2. Improved tone clarity: Since the signal bypasses unnecessary components and long wiring paths, the Jazzmaster's inherent cutting, crystalline high-end presence and direct sound character are fully realized.

3. Reduced troubleshooting: The risk of crackling (noise) from preset switch wear or contact issues causing sound dropout is eliminated from the start.

Currently configured much like standard Stratocasters or Telecasters, operating intuitively with just

the lower 3-way toggle switch and main volume/tone controls—creating an extremely practical, hands-on setup (player's condition).

We ask that only those who understand and accept the above proceed with purchase.
