Rickenbacker manufactured the 360/12V64 reissues between 1985 and 2000. The Rickenbacker 360/12V64 was part of the Rickenbacker Vintage Reissue Series and was based on the twelve string guitar Rickenbacker that was given to George Harrison in 1964, which he then used on the Beatles "A Hard Day's Night" album, in the film and live as well as on other Beatles recordings.
