Here’s a fine example of the Beyerdynamic M260.80. Original introduced in the 60’s, this is Beyer’s single ribbon hypercardioid design, a huge step forward in ribbon technology. The M260.80 was introduced in the early 80’s, and this mic hails from that period. The .80 indicates a built in low frequency cut, helping this ribbon eschew proximity effect, and keeping it more true on high SPL sources. Original ribbon is in tact and sounds healthy and undistorted. Windscreen is re-glued and pins have been cleaned.
This is a fantastic microphone for a speaker cabinet, high hat, snare drum, percussion, or anytime you need high isolation from side sources.
Locking tuchel tail and handmade microphone pouch included.
