The guitar is actually in great condition and no faults on playability. It was just a dead string after all, so this guitar is ready to play.

Condition:

The guitar is in very good condition. With some scratches or dings on the body. There might be some that I have missed but all in all it is in good condition. I have shown them the best I can on the pictures. Neck seems a bit warped towards the top left of the fret from the bridge, which is normal for vintage guitars. But it does not affect the playability. Action is good at approximately 2.7mm on the 6th string and 2.5mm on the first at the 12th fret, might change because of humidity.  

Description:

It is a fine looking guitar with its brown leather case. Everything looks solid and good. The leather case is fine and gives that vintage over all look with the guitar. It looks like the Martin D-28, and was modeled after it during the “lawsuit era” of well built Japanese guitars in the 70s and 80s. I see no cracks or any major issues aside from the G string I mentioned above. Sounds loud and tone is good. Will sell at a lower price, since I don’t have time to change the nut and put it in its optimum condition, will raise the price later, once I restore it, so grab it while you have the chance. The leather case itself makes up for the price of this guitar. If you have a trusted luthier nearby, I am willing to strike a bargain to compensate for the adjustments. Important note: 

This guitar has been in storage for a long time before I got it, and I have not had it checked with a luthier. I have many vintage guitars and I play all of them, but I strongly suggest that you have a professional check it first, because although these made in Japan guitars are built like tanks, I just want to set your expectations so your experience is great. This is a 50 year old guitar after all. The specs, I got are from online sources so you may want to cross check it to be sure. The ones I sell are usually very rare and information about it are sometimes hard to find.

I can vouch that this guitar sounds great, and I can show you a video of how it sounds and plays, if you are really interested to buy it. I intend to post videos on youtube in the near future, but since I have a busy schedule I provide videos for decided buyers in the meantime. 

I want to make sure you, the buyer will have no surprises, when you get the guitar.  I definitely would prefer not to sell a guitar than have a bad review, integrity for me is paramount. That being said, please ask all the questions you need before buying, and check the pictures carefully, I used a professional grade camera to take pictures of the guitar so I can show everything that there is to see about the guitar. Please don’t hesitate to ask for more pictures of certain angles if you need them. I will respond ASAP.

Shipping:

I use EMS JAPAN POST, for shipping as I find them the most reliable. It costs more but nothing beats peace of mind. I charge a flat rate of 27,000 yen for shipping and handling for some areas.

I do my best to ship the guitars very securely, that is why it might be a little expensive.

*Currently for US buyers the JAPAN POST won’t ship items to the US for items more than a 100 USD. So as a work around they are recommending a logistic service called UGX which is tied to UPS. The service is more expensive and takes a little more time, but they told me it would be an alternative secure way to ship guitars to the US. We apologize for the slight increase in shipping cost and longer shipping time for US customers, but hopefully it will be just temporary.
