This Fender 1967 Bassman head in black is in very good condition.  Someone had loaded it with orange drop caps before it arrived here, so I went through it and made some changes.   The yellow parts are Vishay metallized polyester (PET) film caps.  I checked the amp before and after the swap - it made a big difference!  The important parts are original - namely the transformers.

This serviced 50-watt Bassman head has original black tolex and a sparkle grille. Tubes are two JJ 6L6 power tubes, a 12AT7, and three 12AX7 preamp tubes (JJ, Sovtek, and Ruby).  I cleaned the pots, jacks, and tube sockets and tested all the tubes.  The filter caps and bias cap were updated prior to the amp's arrival here.  Someone had swapped the power cable too, but they didn't really do it right so I fixed that as well.  The amp is running strong now and sounds great.  It is ready for another 60 years!
