This is our standard 12AY7. It is roughly 56% lower in gain than a traditional 12AX7. These are great in vintage Fender amps or if you want to drop the gain in your clean or drive channels. It has a very warm and even tone with tight lows, harmonically complex mids and sweet highs. The short military plate structure means that microphonics and mechanical noise are inherently low.
