The Roland SYSTEM-100 is a total system synthesizer released in 1975.By combining the base unit?the Model 101 synthesizer/keyboard?with an expander (Model 102 sound module), an audio mixer (Model 103), an analog sequencer (Model 104), and monitor speakers (Model 109), it formed a complete system similar to todayfs all-in-one workstations.
The SYSTEM-100 featured powerful oscillators and filters, as well as modular patching capabilities, dramatically expanding the possibilities for sound design.

This is the MODEL-101, the keyboard/monophonic synth unit for the SYSTEM-100.
The MODEL-101 is the SYSTEM-100fs base model, featuring a 37-key keyboard and equipped with standard functions such as VCO, VCF, VCA, ADSR, and a noise generator.
Even within the SYSTEM-100 family, this is a unit that can be enjoyed as a standalone synthesizer. Its sound is rich and brilliant?a wonderful sound that sets it apart from lower-priced models.
It also features CV/GATE inputs and outputs, allowing it to be controlled by a sequencer.
