Aquila Alabastro sets use Nylgut, Aquila's synthetic gut, for the three trebles: a perfectly round and smooth monofilament with the quick attack, projection and tone of gut, and very stable intonation.

The basses are silver-plated copper wound on a Nylgut multifilament core, for high tensile strength, stability through climate changes and long life. Like gut, Nylgut is cut-sensitive: make sure the nut and bridge grooves are smooth with no sharp edges before fitting.

Set 19C is the normal tension Alabastro set, a full set of six strings. Made in Italy by Aquila Corde Armoniche.
