This KORG Poly-800 mkII has been inspected, serviced, and restored with factory patches so it is ready to play right out of the box. Service and testing details:

Internal Battery Mod (CR2032): The original Poly-800 series required C batteries to retain patch memory. This unit has been upgraded with an internal CR2032 battery holder. It retains your custom patches and sequence data perfectly without needing external batteries, making future battery replacements quick and easy.

Battery Compartment & Portable Power: The battery compartment has been thoroughly cleaned and contacts serviced. The unit has been tested and verified to operate smoothly on 6 x C batteries, allowing for cordless and portable operation.

Factory Patches Restored: Preloaded with the original factory presets.

Controls & Switches: All panel buttons have been tested and respond smoothly with NO chattering or mis-triggers, making parameter editing and numeric entry comfortable and precise.

Keyboard: All keys tested for consistent and reliable triggering.

Built-in Sequencer: Step and real-time recording and sequence playback have been fully tested and work properly.

Pots & Jacks: Potentiometers and jacks have been cleaned for clear signal output. The OUTPUT (R) jack terminal has been resoldered.

MIDI Operation: Verified MIDI In/Out stability. Works perfectly with external controllers or as a hardware sound module.

Cleaning: Internally and externally cleaned.

⚠️ Important Notice for Vintage Users (Please Read)

Vintage Gear: This item is a vintage instrument. While it has been serviced and thoroughly tested, it is sold strictly "as-is" with no warranty due to the nature of vintage electronics.

Connectors & Ports:

The plastic outer ring on the OUTPUT (R) jack has a minor crack/missing piece; however, the internal structural rib is completely intact, so standard 1/4" cables insert securely with normal retention and feel identical to the L jack (please refer to photos).

The TAPE LOAD/VERIFY ports have not been tested (MIDI is standard for patch management today, so this does not affect normal usage).

Cosmetic Condition: There are cosmetic scratches, minor marks, and signs of wear consistent with its age. Please review all high-resolution photos carefully.

Power Supply & Voltage: Included is a universal third-party switching AC adapter (AC 100V–240V compatible, DC 9V Center Negative). It works safely worldwide without a step-down transformer (a simple physical plug adapter for your country's wall outlet may be required).
