If you ask us, nothing beats the real thing. This is a 1980 Roland RE-201 Space Echo tape delay unit built in Japan. The included instructional sheet within the lead is written in Japanese. The unit is in great cosmetic shape and has recently been tested and works as it sound. It sounds terrific. There's an intermittent mechanical squeaking coming off one of the wheels when the speed is pushed to faster tempos, but it comes and goes. The unit is sold in as-is condition as these tape delays often require upkeep to keep going for more years of service, but they are worth it!
