The HOFA Diffusor Natural ensures even dispersion of reflections in the mid and high-mid range and thus supports precise room acoustics in recording studios, control rooms, home theaters or high-quality hi-fi setups. Instead of simply absorbing sound energy, the diffuser distributes sound waves in the room in a controlled manner. The result is a more natural, open sound with more depth and spatiality.

Controlled diffusion helps to reduce harsh reflections and flutter echoes without making the room seem acoustically "dead", especially when mixing, mastering or critical monitoring. Voices, instruments and transients remain lively and clearly localizable.

The HOFA diffuser Natural is based on the proven QRD concept of a 2D Schröder diffuser and was specially developed for effective sound dispersion in the range from approx. 700 Hz to 2200 Hz. The different depths of the chambers create targeted time-of-flight differences that distribute reflections widely throughout the room. The diffuser is made of untreated birch plywood.

Four HOFA diffusers can be combined to form a large QRD diffuser. This further increases the effectiveness of sound diffusion. This creates an even more homogeneous diffusion field, especially in larger control rooms or demanding listening environments.

Thanks to the integrated suspension, the HOFA diffuser can be easily mounted on the wall. With its compact dimensions of 50 cm x 50 cm x 11 cm, it is suitable for both smaller home studios and larger professional acoustic solutions.

The diffuser is also ideal for use in the HOFA . This means it can be flexibly combined with absorbers or bass traps to adapt the room acoustics to different applications and listening situations.
