I have way too many basses ;-) and decided to sell a handful of them.
Like most of the basses I'm currently selling, this one has had a full setup (including the nut) by an excellent luthier. Low action and perfect intonation.
Neck-thru construction, with great sustain while maintaining a nice punch. Excellent pickups. I love this bass, it sounds great, and I recorded several songs with it. But it's heavy (4.5 kgs), which feels heavy now that I'm 63. ;-)
Equipped with rather fresh d'Addario EXL-170 + XLB135 (B-string). They still have a lot of "zing" (I keep all my guitars and basses clean and fresh).
This bass has several cosmetic imperfections, that you can see on the last 6 pictures:
- A dent on the head's cuspid (pictures 17+18)
- A slight reddish stain/coloration on the back of the body, along the neck-thru (picture 19)
- A slight yellow-ish stain/coloration on the back of the body, which is visible ONLY against the light (picture 20), but totally invisible with any other light angle (picture 21)
- A ±4mm defect (manufacturing defect?) in the wood just behind the nut (picture 22)
