With the Fender Bassman series, Fender is launching a pedal series that is aimed specifically at bassists and offers some useful features for representatives of the low-frequency fraction. The Fender Bassman Driver is aimed specifically at fans of sophisticated distortion sounds and offers two JFET-based gain voices: the former provides the characterful sound of a hard-driven Fender Bassman Head, while the latter offers a modern Distortion sound that is ideally suited to rock and metal. Thanks to the integrated cabinet simulation, the Fender Bassman Driver can also be used outside of classic amplifier setups without any problems.
