Cort Space 5 Star Dust Green
The Cort Artisan Space 5 bass guitar is not just a modern headless instrument; it is a resurrection of a groundbreaking legacy. In the 80s, Cort turned the bass world upside down with the Space line, known for its innovative headless design and Steinberger-licensed tuners. Now, that revolutionary spirit returns in the Artisan Space 5, carefully designed for the topic of compact headless basses.
The combination of the poplar burl top on the soft maple body provides a great balance between tight, full-sounding lows and smooth, transparent highs, not to mention the beautiful wood grain of the poplar burl top for a more natural, organic aesthetic.
The Body of the Space 5 Following the legacy of the Space basses of the 80s, the Space 5 reinterprets the classic for the modern era. At its heart lies the revered Artisan Bass series, where the body and neck design are essential, but with a twist. Designed for comfort and boldness, the Space 5 features deeper contours and bold amplitude while embracing the liberating spirit of headless design. Individual bridge saddles and integrated tuners complete the transformation, making the Space 5 a timeless icon reborn.
Bartolini® MK-1 pickups and active 3-band EQ preamp The signature Bartolini sound is retained in the MK-1, offering excellent sound quality and value. The MK-1 delivers plenty of punchy, warm midrange, along with transparent, brilliant highs for a superbly balanced sound. With the powerful active 3-band EQ preamp, players can smooth and refine their perfect tone with the bass, mid, and treble adjustment knobs.
