With the Jackson Pro Series Signature Rob Cavestany Death Angel Satin Black, the legendary guitar of the Death Angel lead guitarist is available for the first time as a signature model outside the Jackson Custom store. Based on the vicious design that the thrash metal pioneer created on a napkin in 1989, the electric guitar offers excellent conditions for merciless high-speed playing with the adequate sound. While the "Speed Neck" fits perfectly in the hand and lets every playing technique come out of the fingers with ease, the team of EMG 81 and an EMG HA pickups delivers not only rich distortion sounds with razor-sharp precision, but also more moderate tones for singing solos. As a true shredder guitar, the Pro Series Signature Rob Cavestany Death Angel naturally comes with a Floyd Rose Special Double-Locking Tremolo for unrepentant whammy bar action.

Despite its vicious appearance, the Rob Cavestany Death Angel guitar impresses with excellent handling. The characteristic lower Cutaway and smooth transition make it easy to reach the high registers of the full-length, graphite-reinforced maple neck. The flat "Speed Neck" neck profile and the rosewood fingerboard with a compound radius that becomes flatter towards the high frets also create the best conditions for intricate high-speed riffing and lightning-fast solos.

At the guitar amp, the Pro Series Rob Cavestany Death Angel surprises not only with merciless metal sounds, but also with more moderate timbres for soulful lead passages and cleans. In the bridge position, the familiar EMG 81 ceramic humbucker provides particularly aggressive tones that convince with a precise representation of every note played, thanks to razor-sharp focused mids and biting highs, even at maximum gain. Under the humbucker cover of the EMG HA pickup placed on the neck, on the other hand, is a diagonally oriented single coil whose transparent, bell-bright sound character is ideally suited for singing Overdrive and harmonic cleans. A straightforward 3-way circuit with master volume control grants full control over the pickup of the Rob Cavestany Signature guitar.

Last but not least, Jackson equips the Pro Series Signature Rob Cavestany Death Angel Satin Black with high-quality Hardware that can handle even the toughest thrash shows with unwavering reliability. As a bridge here naturally a shredder-suitable Floyd Rose Special tremolo is used. Due to the double-locking design, the system takes even the most unrestrained dive bombs and squeals with unshakable tuning stability. Die-Cast tuners on the pointed Jackson headstock bring the guitar quickly and precisely into the correct tuning.
