The Remo Controlled Sound Ambassador is a single-layer striking head for snare drums and toms. The Ambassador CS skins have a rear reinforcement point that not only increases the life expectancy of the skin, but also gives the drummer more sound control by attenuating unwanted overtones.
Overtone control and increased durabilityCS Ambassador Coated Series skins are made of 10 mil (0.254 mm) coated Mylar film. The Black Dot is attached to the underside of these skins and strengthens the coat by another 5 mil. The CS Ambassador coat thus delivers more tone and increased sensitivity in the edge area as well as overtone control and durability in the centre.
