The WA-CX24 is a faithful recreation of one of the most iconic vintage stereo large-diaphragm condenser microphones, built with premium components for unmatched versatility. Featuring vintage-correct design, it offers multiple pickup patterns and adjustable stereo widths for imaginative stereo recording setups.
Its smooth highs and vibrant midrange deliver natural, expressive tones—perfect for live drums, wide acoustic guitars, and spacious pianos. With a 180-degree capsule rotation, it enables precise stereo imaging and supports techniques like XY, Blumlein, mid-side, or custom angles.
Each capsule also features independently assignable polar-pattern switching, allowing unique combinations like cardioid and figure-8 for creative stereo imaging.
Internally, it houses two CK12-style solid brass capsules, a hand-selected 12AY7 tube for vintage warmth and clarity, and dual USA-made T14 transformers from TAB-Funkenwerk (AMI) for superior signal integrity.
The WA-CX24 includes a premium Gotham GAC-9 cable, dual-pattern power supply, shockmount, custom wood box, and tweed flight case. Like all Warm Audio gear, it’s hand-tested by expert technicians in Austin, TX.
