1940's Lifton Geib Stone Gibson Gretsch Epiphone SJ 200 Jumbo L5 Archtop Hard Shell Case

A very RARE and hard to find Hard Shell Guitar Case. Its a 17 1/2 inch wide Lifton, Stone or Geib Hard Shell Case. There was a logo on the accessory box at some point but its long gone...Check those pics. Incredible Case find!

This case is in great shape considering its age. It has the Red Plush interior that Gibson was know for in the 40's. The interior is in fantastic shape. There is Tolex missing in spots on the exterior but the rest of the Tolex is tight and not coming loose anywhere. The case still has the correct latches that work properly, hinges that work properly, the original handle which has seen better days but its still there, the back chrome resting mounts, Back restraint strap,and the butt end piece that is always missing. See pic 7. The accessory box is even still with this case but missing the opening ribbon to lift the lid. Great condition on this historic case.

The case measures 17 1/2 inches wide at the lower bout, 13 1/2 inches at the upper bout, measures 25 1/2 inches from the butt end to the accessory box and it has 43 inches of total length. It should fit the SJ 200 Flattop Gibson and the L5 Archtop Gibson just fine. I had a 17 1/4 inch jazz box in it for awhile and it fit it great!
