The EQ From Hell is a 3-band parametric EQ that is in the spirit of the Furman PQ3. It has ±12 dB of boost/cut, sweepable frequency, and adjustable Q (bandwidth) per band and a maximum 30dB output.
The pedal uses a standard boss-style 9V power supply (2.1mm, center negative) with a minimum 130mA current supply. Using a power supply greater than 9V may void your warranty.
Controls for each band include: ±12 dB of Cut/Boost, sweepable frequency, and adjustable Q (Bandwidth).
The low band frequency range is 33-330Hz.
The mid band frequency range is 250-2,500 Hz.
The high band frequency range is 1.1 - 11.0 kHz.
The Volume controls the amount of output boost, up to 30dB.
The pedal uses an internal boost converter to supply the circuit with ±15V power. That's 30V of headroom to ensure that your signal will not clip or distort.
Careful PCB layout and design practice ensures that background noise is kept to an absolute minimum, even when the boost and volume controls are maxxed out.
Each pedal uses a professionally assembled PCB and is proudly assembled by hand in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
