A hybrid-shell snare drum utilizing carbon fiber material. The "Carbonply Maple" features a shallow-depth (5.5") shell constructed from a 6-ply maple core (5.4mm) with carbon fiber cloth laminated to both the inner and outer surfaces. It delivers a bold, punchy tone with defined edges, vivid note articulation, and a sharp sound—performing exceptionally well in everything from live performances to studio recording sessions.
Carbonply Maple Shell
A proprietary Pearl shell design featuring a 6-ply maple core (5.4mm) with carbon fiber cloth laminated to the interior and exterior. It is characterized by a "scooped" sound profile (emphasized highs and lows), combining the unique high-end response of carbon fiber with a powerful low-end punch.
As this is a used item, there are some scratches and signs of wear, but nothing that affects the sound quality.
A portion of the badge is missing.
There is some minor pitting on the hardware.
