Rarely produced, early pre-Ernie Ball models are particularly sought after.Equipped with two humbuckers and a unique active circuit, the 3-way pickup selector, phase switch, bright switch, and 2-band EQ allow for a wide range of sound shaping, from the robust low end reminiscent of the StingRay to sharp, bright tones. This early model features a preamp using the LM4250CN and a bridge with a mute mechanism, strongly reflecting Leo Fender's design philosophy.A rare vintage Sabre Bass from the early production run is uncommon on the market.Don't miss this opportunity![Specifications]Body: AshNeck: MapleFingerboard: MapleNut Width: 42mmScale: 34 inchFrets: 21 FString Spacing: 18mmPickups: Music Man Humbucker ~2Preamp: Music Man Active 2-Band EQ (LM4250CN)Control: 1 Volume, Treble, Bass, 3-Way PU Selector, Phase SW, Bright SWColor: Natural[Condition]The battery snap has been replaced with a new one, and one of the bridge saddle grub screws has been replaced with a different part of the same diameter. The exterior shows discoloration on the back of the neck due to age and use, and there are several dents with paint chips near the body end.
