With the Jackson Pro Series Signature Rob Cavestany Death Angel Snow White, the legendary guitar of the Death Angel lead guitarist is available for the first time as a signature model outside the Jackson Custom Shop. Based on the menacing design that the thrash metal pioneer sketched on a napkin in 1989, the electric guitar offers excellent conditions for relentless high-speed playing with the appropriate sound. Whilst the "Speed Neck" fits perfectly in the hand and allows every playing technique to flow effortlessly from the fingers, the combination of an EMG 81 and an EMG HA pickup delivers not only rich distortion sounds with razor-sharp precision, but also more mellow tones for singing solos. As a true shredder guitar, the Pro Series Signature Rob Cavestany Death Angel naturally comes with a Floyd Rose FRT-O1000 double-locking tremolo for relentless whammy bar action.
Aggressive style and excellent handlingDespite its menacing appearance, the Rob Cavestany Death Angel guitar impresses with its excellent handling. Thanks to the characteristic lower cutaway and the smooth transition, even the high frets of the one-piece, graphite-reinforced maple neck are easily accessible. The flat “Speed Neck” profile and the ebony fingerboard with a compound radius that flattens towards the higher frets also create the ideal conditions for intricate high-speed riffing and lightning-fast soloing.
Flexible EMG PickupsPlugged into a guitar amp, the Pro Series Rob Cavestany Death Angel surprises not only with relentless metal sounds, but also with more subdued tones for emotive lead passages and clean tones. In the bridge position, the well-known EMG 81 ceramic humbucker delivers particularly aggressive tones which, thanks to razor-sharp mid-range and biting highs, impress with a precise reproduction of every note played, even at maximum gain. Beneath the humbucker cover of the EMG HA pickup positioned at the neck , however , lies a diagonally oriented single-coil pickup, whose transparent, bell-like tone is ideally suited to singing overdrive and harmonious clean tones. A straightforward 3-way switch with a master volume control gives you full control over the pickups on the Rob Cavestany Signature guitar.
Floyd Rose FRT-O1000 TremoloLast but not least, Jackson equips the Pro Series Signature Rob Cavestany Death Angel Snow White with high-quality hardware that can withstand even the toughest thrash shows with unwavering reliability. Naturally, a shredder-ready Floyd Rose FRT-O1000 tremolo is used as the bridge. Thanks to its double-locking design, the system withstands even the most unrestrained dive-bombs and squeals with unwavering tuning stability. Die-cast tuners on the sleek Jackson headstock also allow the guitar to be tuned quickly and precisely to the correct pitch.
