Incredible example of a Ludwig Universal from the 20’s. Nickel over brass, 5”x15”. Very sensitive and loud, wide tuning range due to how high quality the shell is. Even though this drum is 100 years old it’s ready to gig/record with.
The tension rods all move smoothly and evenly, all original except for it has a replacement strainer as the original’s on these were very restrictive. Three of the clips have also been replaced. Brand new heads/wires.
