With the Classic Vibe Custom Esquire, Squier is launching a tribute to the legendary Esquire models of the late 1950s and early 1960s. This classic electric guitar combines the striking look of historic Tele designs with authentic vintage features. At the heart of the Classic Vibe Custom Esquire is a Fender-designed Alnico single coil, which provides exactly the sound you would expect from a classic Esquire in the bridge position: With crisp Attack and vocal highs, this model achieves the authentic sound of its original role model, allowing genres such as blues, country, indie or rock to be tackled wonderfully. Despite the single pickup, the guitar impresses with amazing versatility - made possible by the original 3-way switching. This allows you to bypass the tone control completely, use it as a variable treble control or work with a preset tone cap for warm, mid-range sounds. The classic C-neck profile with vintage tint gloss finish, together with the 9.5" fingerboard radius and 21 narrow-tall frets, ensures a comfortable playing feel, while vintage-style tuners and a string-through-body bridge provide a tuning-stable performance.
