With the new Ibanez AE275BT Baritone, the traditional Japanese manufacturer Ibanez is expanding its range with an electro-acoustic baritone acoustic guitar in a comfortable AE design. Thanks to a solid Sitka spruce top, a clear and powerful sound is produced, which is particularly expressive in the mid and treble frequencies, so that the instrument can develop a defined and clean tone despite the low tuning. The medium-sized design and the laminated okoume body enrich the instrument with warm bass frequencies, which provide the necessary saturation and rapid sound development. The desired playability is provided by a flat Nyatoh neck with a Katalox fingerboard, which perfectly balances out the thick strings and the long scale length of 685.7 mm and which, in combination with a nut width of 45 mm and a cutaway allows generous access to all 20 frets, making complex fingerings child's play even in the higher registers. The Ibanez AE275BT Baritone is completed with an Ibanez AP11 magnetic pickup, which can be individually adjusted via a volume and tone control in the frame and gives the acoustic sound of the guitar a very unique touch. A unique look is provided by elaborate inlays and a wafer-thin natural low-gloss finish that gently emphasizes the fine structure of the woods used.
