Developed in collaboration with renowned amp designer James Brown, who built amps for the immortal Guitar Hero back in the '90s, the two-channel, 40-watt guitar amp is ideal for recording studio and stage.

Dual-channel Preamp for flexible sounds

The two-channel preamp of the EVH Iconic 5150 Combo promises a particularly flexible shaping of the guitar sound. Channel 1 delivers crystal-clear clean sounds, but can also be animated to juicy Overdrive with the overdrive switch. Channel 2 offers a wonderfully distorting Brown sound in the style of Eddie van Halen, which can be given additional fire with the help of the Burn switch. The Channel 2 assigned Noise Gate provides a pleasant silence during pauses and helps to accentuate staccato riffs.

Versatile sound shaping

Channel 1 and Channel 2 of the 5150 Iconic Combo have their own gain and volume controls for optimal adjustment of distortion and volume. Both channels also share a common 3-band tone control for adjusting tone, while the Resonance and Presence kn obs affect the output of low and high frequencies in the power amp. To let solos cut through the mix with the necessary portion of extra volume, a switchable boost is also on board.
