Reliably distribute microphone signals across multiple signal paths

The Palmer PMS-02 is designed for sound engineers, bands and studios that wish to route microphone signals to multiple devices simultaneously. This passive split box offers two independent channels and is suitable, for example, for parallel signal routing to the FOH mixing desk, monitor station and recording system.

For each channel, there is a direct ‘Thru’ output and two transformer-balanced outputs alongside the input. Galvanic isolation ensures a low-interference connection between different audio devices, whilst ground-lift switches help to prevent ground loops where necessary. Phantom power can also be routed via the Thru path to suitable microphones.

This makes the Palmer PMS-02 a compact and practical solution for live, studio and broadcast set-ups where a microphone signal needs to be reliably distributed across multiple signal paths without the need for an additional power supply.
