Seymour Duncan SSL-1 Vintage Staggered Strat Pickup

The SSL-1 is built in the style of Fender's golden age, starting with the correct color and thickness of Forbon flatwork, and a traditional keyed bottom plate. The flatwork is hand-filed, assembled with hand-ground magnets, and finished with a lacquered bobbin. After winding, the pickup is wax potted for squeal-free performance, then waxed and tinned cloth push-back hookup wires, and the bottom plate are attached. The SSL-1 is carefully hand-built in Santa Barbara, CA.
